I’m listing this hand made puzzle box. It’s shaped like a sloth, lined with maroon felt and is just the perfect amount of fun to hold jewelry or trinkets. While it is missing one small piece, the overall box is in great condition with minimal wear and tear.
Historically boxes of this nature were produced as tourist gifts and meant to keep the purchaser entertained. This tradition began in the 19th century.
Did you know that three of the six different species of sloths are on various endangered species lists? And you know how slow they move? 7-1/2 feet per hour. They’re such cool animals.
