    Description

    WWII vintage Cattaraugus 225Q Quartermaster combat fighting bowie style US military fixed blade knife with a lambs wool padded leather sheath.
    10-1/4" long, 5/32" thick & 5-3/4" long blade with blood grooves on both sides, dark brown tightly stacked leather handle, 3/8" thick steel finger guard, and a 3 layer steel pommel/butt.
    Knife alone weighs 11-1/8 oz. and 1 lb. with the sheath.
    Blade tang stamped "Cattaraugus 225Q".
    Dark brown double layer leather sheath has slits for a belt and lambs wool padding on top of the blade portion.
    Sheath originally has a leather handle strap, but it is missing.
    Knife is well used but solid with dings, scratches, file marks, etc.
