CONDITION: The blade edge is very sharp. There are a couple of pitted areas on the edge (right side near the front, and left side near the back). There is some light pitting on the left side along the front false edge. The brass guard is sound, and does not wobble. It has some old brown tarnish marks. There is some rusting and pitting in the upper and lower steel parts of the handle between the leather washers. The leather washers are OK. The pommel is sound, though it has a few dents. The leather sheath is sound. Please note that there are some dark stains in the leather.

    -->  This is a used Western brand sheath knife.  It has a blade length of 4 & 5/16 inches, and an overall length of 8 inches. The knife has a brass guard, a leather washer handle with colored spacers at each end, and an aluminum pommel. It comes with its original brown leather sheath.
    MARKINGS:  The left side of the blade is stamped in three lines, "Western   ---   Boulder, Colo.   ---   U.S.A."  The front of the brass guard is stamped, "L48A."
