Vintage - WESTERN - WWII - Large Shark - 1941-1945 - Original Dbl Stitch Sheath

Description

This Western Shark knife is still in very good condition.  The carbon steel blade is tang stamped "WESTERN - BOULDER, COLO. - PAT. NO. 1,967,478".   It was patented in 1935 and used in WWII.  The 6" blade has a little light pitting and staining.   The pommel is aluminum with a lanyard hole and the hand guard is steel.  The leather washer handle has black and red spacers.  This comes with the original leather sheath with the double stitching and brads.  A couple stitches are missing and a name has been marked in on the back of the sheath.  Nice knife still in very good condition.
