    Description

    This is a vintage spear point knife made for farmers for livestock sticking and often called a pigsticker.  It measures 8.5" long with the blade being 4".  Single edge with sharpened false edge.  Thin but stiff blade.  Stamped: CUTLERY MADE IN SHEFFIELD ENGLAND.  Steel ferrule/guard.  Handle are rosewood over the full tang secured by 4 steel pins.  Many of these types of knives were repurposed as private purchase weapons during WW2 by both the US and Britain.  Comes in a handmade leather tube sheath.  Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back.
