ULTRA RARE CATTARAUGUS FEATHER WEIGHT KNIFE * BUTTERSCOTCH BAKELITE * HANDLE

Recent find is this:  ULTRA RARE  - Cattaraugus " FEATHER WEIGHT "  Butterscotch Amber Handle made of Composite or Bakelite as shown in our photos. The lighter weight handle and slotted blade make this hunting knife super light and a breeze to field dress game. The overall length of the Cattaraugus fixed blade knife is 8 1/4" from the tip of the blade to the butt on the handle. The handle is clearly stamped " Feather Weight " below the design of a game feather. The leather sheath appears original and the previous owner carved his first name Bill and letter K on the sheath while etching his initials BK on the reverse side of the butterscotch knife handle. The slotted blade is stamped Patent Applied For and the blade edge is extremely sharp so we caution the new owner to be very careful when handling. These seldom come up for bid on E-bay so this should make a sensational vintage hunting knife for someone's collection.
