    Description

    This is a very rare antique sterling silver napkin ring by Gorham in the "Isis" pattern of 1870.  The oval napkin ring measures 2" long by 1 1/4" wide and weighs just under one ounce.  It carries a fancy script "G" monogram.  The napkin ring is stamped with the pattern number 663 C, is marked sterling, and has the Gorham hallmark.  It has been professionally cleaned and polished and is in excellent condition. This wonderful example of Egyptian Revival would make a great addition to any collection of antique sterling napkin rings.
