early
"Wide Laminated Steel" blade knife is in Very G
ood vintage condition.   The 9" Puukko has a handsome Mora Sweden handcrafted Wood Handle.
This hard to find Woodcrafter's knife was likely
manufactured
in the
1950's
as indicated by the unique fixed blade design and stamping.
One great
collectible
hunting/skinning knife that demonstrates the quality and care that went into producing a long-lasting
Swedish
service knife.
Remember, “back in their day” these older knives were purchased to be used…

collected, making this great vintage condition difficult to find.

This Mora Sweden knife handle is in
Exceptionally G
ood condition
for its age and has
rich brown color tones.
Everything is tight on t
he knife including the
metal bolster
,
finger guard,
and the
peened butt end
...so there is
No movement.
The metal bolster and half guard have some nice patina, which is normal for being decades old.
This beauty has a nice wood handle design that offers an easy and secure grip while in use.

BLADE

wide f
ixed blade is sharp,
looks
straight
and measures an impressive
1  3/16" wide
(at it's widest area).  This early Swedish
"Woodcraft"
hunting/skinning blade is in
Very Good
vintage condition
The Frost's
Laminated Steel
design offers a
quality blade edge
that will last a lifetime. This Mora steel blade
is
still bright
and features a
false top edge
that could be sharpened if desired
.
There are some light short surface scratches and some signs of re-sharpening.
This rare
WOODCRAFT  wide
clip-point
blade knife
has a nice blade edge with
No blade edge nicks
.

This early Mora Woodcrafter's style of knife has often been sought after for hunting/skinning, and sometimes used as a fighting or survival tool.
SHEATH

leather sheath
is included and offers secure carrying in the field.  This nice vintage leather sheath (or case) measures
9  1/8" long.
The sheath's
stitching is intac

and the case ha

secure metal rivets
. There is
a
working fastening strap with metal
snap
,
plus large
belt loop.
This vintage leather case is in
Very Good
and useable
condition for its age. Since it is decades old, there are some signs of handling, light usage, and some normal light surface scuffs.

This Swedish knife has
a lot of character and vintage appeal....with that "patina of time" appearance not yet achieved with newer knives.
It is just waiting for the right person to appreciate its quality handcrafted design and make it their own!
