For your consideration is a fine Pair of sterling silver Napkin Rings in Shreve’s 14th Century Pattern, made circa 1905-1911. This pair is a excellent example of American Arts & Crafts Silver work. These Rings have excellent strap work, and all over Hand-Hammered decorations. These pieces also have neat etched Floral decorations encircling them, and great pierced openwork in the strapwork bands. The condition of these heavy gauge Napkin Rings is very good- light surface wear from light use, and a small hard-to-see ding under one of the monograms. Monogrammed on outside of Rings: “J.S.G.”, on one, and “N.Y.G.” On the other. Inscription on inside of Rings: “Sept. 14 1911” on one, “From Evelyn Bomeisler Sept. 14 1911” on the other.
