KWIKPAK Post Case - Conveyance for mailing laundry

Description

Here's something you don't see anymore:  A suitcase designed to be filled with dirty laundry to send home to mommy.  There is a faint date stamp that indicates this was last used in 1925.  I can only assume it was sent home by someone staying at the YMCA in Indianapolis.  Not sure if they had no access to a laundry, or if it was actually cheaper to send laundry home to be cleaned.
The bag measures 19" x 11" x 4" and is constructed of cardboard, canvas, and cloth with metal fasteners.  It is soiled and shows wear.  Apparently new inner cases were available for purchase back in the day - this bag could use one.
A nice postal artifact that will soon be 100 years old.
