    Item Description:
    This auction is for an old fixed blade knife or dagger that was recently purchased from a local estate. It measures 8.4" long total with a blade length of 4.6" long. The top metal part of the handle is stamped R. Murphy, Ayer Mass 2 (see pic 3). I believe the knife has to be made after 1906 since the company moved to Ayer Mass at that time. The handle inserts look to be made out of rosewood. The blade shows wear and has a lot of tarnish. There is a dinged up section on the blade edge near the tip. The handle shows some scratches and small dings. The knife does not have a sheath or any other case. This auction is for the knife only.
