Beautiful!! Antique Victorian button or dress decoration! Adorned with marcasites and  extremely fine details of flourishes crafted in sterling silver. Center panel of rectangular black onyx topped with additional decoration of scrolling silver and marcasites. Very fine piece. Some marcasites are absent; could be easily replaced or is lovely as is. Definitely French origin. Marked BREVETTE on the back and also what appears to be SGDG. Measures 1" in diameter.
