1920's~EDELSTAHL~SOLINGEN~GERMAN STAG~BAVARIAN KNICKER HUNTING KNIFE w/SHEATH~

This auction is for a top quality very rare 1920's era antique German stag Bavarian Knicker hunting knife with an antique leather sheath, marked: EDELSTAHL - SOLINGEN - This classic style hunting knife was very popular from the 1910's to the 1930s and this pattern is still used in some modern German knife brands. This tight and solid hunting knife has a deer stag antler handle grip, nickel silver bolsters, and a very sharp drop point encapsulated full tang high carbon stainless steel blade. The knife has some minor micro pitting blemishes, overall still in very good+ condition. The antique pancake flipper pattern sheath looks and works very fine with this knife, is period correct, and overall is also in very good+ condition. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. The knife measures 9 3/8" with a 4 3/4" blade and in the sheath the weight is 6 oz.
